Why this program?

  • In Vietnam, a staggering 16M micro- and small businesses contribute to 65% of the nation's GDP
  • However, 79% are underserved without a significant approach to information for market access and increase their bargaining power, due to inaccessibility of product market data, supply chain processes, and no tech-enabled sourcing solutions tailored to small business merchants' needs. 
  • As a result, these businesses have to procure products from last layers vendors, and suffer from the higher cost of goods sold, often two to 10 times higher.

Program overview

SoBanHang is a business operating mobile app that empowers nano and micro SMEs to sell more across digital channels, manage business operations efficiently, and access inclusive financial services easily on smartphones. 

Their SaaS solution currently empowers 500,000 Vietnamese businesses and help process $2.5B transaction value every year

Through this program, SoBanHang wants to provide merchants instant access to market data and procurement services through its Intelligent Procurement Solution integrated with SoBanHang - #1 Business Operating System for MSEs in Vietnam. The solution will:

  • Discover and recommend potential winning products, for example, high margin or trending products, with proven data across wholesale and retail platforms like Shopee, Lazada and Alibaba.
  • Recommend trusted wholesale and suppliers from both China and Vietnam with the most favorable price, high satisfaction score, return rate and fast delivery time.
  • Facilitate the whole supply chain with product sourcing, order placement, check-out, payment, fulfillment, support and guidance for merchants.
  • Connect to the SoBanHang Operating System with POS to manage inventory, in-store sales and online storefronts to serve local shoppers.
